Viewpoint Offline is a version of Viewpoint Online that can be run without being connected to the Internet. You will still need to connect to the Internet to download and upload users, but the questionnaire can be answered without being connected to the Internet.

 

Note: Before using Viewpoint Offline you will need to Download Users by logging into Viewpoint Online as a manager. Please refer to the “Download Users for use with Viewpoint Offline” guide for information on how to do this. When you have downloaded users for use with Viewpoint Offline (a data.off file) you can now login using those users.

 

 

1. How to use Viewpoint Offline

 

To Run Viewpoint Offline either:

 

·         Click on the desktop icon for Viewpoint Offline (see Fig 1).

Or

·         Click on the “Start” menu then “Programs” then “Viewpoint” and then the “Viewpoint Offline” menu option (see Fig 2).

Viewpoint Offline will load and you will see the Viewpoint Offline login screen (see Fig 3).

 

 


 

 

2. Login to Viewpoint Offline

 

To Login to Viewpoint Offline enter the Login Id of a user downloaded for use with Viewpoint Offline in the “Login Id” box (see Fig 3).

3. Choose Questionnaire

 

When you have successfully logged in you will see a list of questionnaires available for completion. Choose a questionnaire and click on the “Start” button (See Fig 4).

 

Note: If a questionnaire has already been started then a “Resume” and or “Restart” button will be displayed.

4. Answer the Questionnaire

 

You will now be able to answer the questionnaire you chose (see Fig 5).

Once you have finished answering a questionnaire, even if it is not completed you will need to upload the users for the questionnaire responses to be added to the database. Uploading the users also unlocks them, so they can be downloaded again in future. Please refer to the “Upload Users” guide for information on how to do this.
