Clear password allows a manager to change the password for a Login Id if it has been forgotten or requires changing for security reasons.

 

 

1. Open the “Clear Password” Screen

 

Click on the “Clear Password” option in the “Maintenance” section of the menu at the left hand side of the screen (circled in red on Figure 1). The “Clear Password” screen will be displayed.

Note: If you cannot see the “Clear Password” option then you do not have the correct permissions to clear passwords.

2. Enter the Login Id

 

Type in the Login Id you wish to clear the password for. You can either type in a new password in the “Password” and “Confirm Password” boxes or you can leave them blank, if you leave them blank the password will be set the same as the Login Id. Click on the “Clear” button to continue (see Figure 2).

 

Note: When the Login Id is first used after the password has been cleared, the user will be asked to change the password.

3. Confirm the Login Id

 

Confirm that it is the correct Login Id you wish to clear the password for and click on the “Confirm” button (see Figure 3).

 

If it isn’t press the “Back” button to go back to the “Clear Password” screen and re-enter a Login Id.
